US President Donald Trump has invited Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to join the newly established Board of Peace for Gaza, as reported by Anadolu. This invitation was extended on January 16, as Trump aims to address the Gaza conflict following UN Security Council Resolution 2803, which supports a comprehensive plan for a ceasefire and reconstruction efforts in the region. Burahanettin Duran, Türkiye’s communications director, emphasized the board’s role in ensuring security and facilitating reconstruction in Gaza.
