Egypt to Launch Projects Near Israeli Border

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has allocated several plots of land in North Sinai, including areas near Rafah, under Presidential Decree No. 736 of 2025, to establish logistics zones as part of a national development plan for the Sinai Peninsula. This decision involves approximately 6,227,658 square meters of state-owned land, while military land will remain under Armed Forces control. The initiative aims to enhance infrastructure and create a trade corridor linking the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea. Key projects include developing Al-Arish Port and improving railway connectivity.
