Israel frees 10 Palestinians in Gaza ceasefire agreement

Israel has released 10 Palestinians detained from Gaza as part of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement with Hamas. The International Committee of the Red Cross facilitated their transfer to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital for medical checks. Currently, over 9,300 Palestinian prisoners are held by Israel, amid reports of mistreatment and escalating violations during the ongoing conflict that has resulted in over 70,900 deaths in Gaza since October 2023.
