Israel demolished the Palestinian village of al-Araqib in the southern Negev for the 244th time on Wednesday, according to Aziz al-Touri from the Committee for the Defense of Al-Araqib. Despite the demolitions since 2010, the residents, approximately 22 families, consistently rebuild their homes, made of wood, plastic, and tin. The Israeli government does not recognize the village, aiming to forcibly displace its residents to seize their land. Al-Araqib, established during the Ottoman period, continues to resist these actions.
