Over 107,000 people have fled El Fasher and nearby villages in North Darfur due to a takeover by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on October 26, according to the International Organisation for Migration (IOM). Between October 26 and December 8, approximately 107,294 individuals, primarily previously displaced, sought safety within North Darfur or moved to other states in Sudan. About 72% remain in North Darfur, while 19% relocated to areas such as Central Darfur and White Nile. Many of those affected were already internally displaced, forced to move again amidst escalating insecurity.
