He bravely confronted one of the shooters, saving lives but sustaining serious injuries himself. Following the tragedy, which left 15 dead, Ahmed received $1.65 million in public donations, emphasizing his commitment to continue saving lives. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese hailed him as “the best of our country.”
