Israel advises evacuation of Lebanese town before attacks

The Israeli army has ordered residents of Yanooh, a town in southern Lebanon, to evacuate ahead of planned strikes on Hezbollah military infrastructure, marking a breach of the November 2024 ceasefire. Military spokesman Avichay Adraee warned people to stay at least 300 meters away from targeted sites. Despite a ceasefire agreement following extensive violence last year, Israel has only partially withdrawn its forces from southern Lebanon. The situation remains tense as threats of further conflict loom.
