Iran seizes oil tanker in Strait of Hormuz for fuel smuggling

Iran seized an oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz for allegedly smuggling 6 million liters of fuel, detaining 18 crew members, including the captain, according to local reports. The tanker was apprehended near Jask after failing to stop and having its radar system turned off. Inspections revealed a lack of maritime documents and identified numerous crimes aboard. The detained crew members are from India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
