Israel continues to restrict independent access for international journalists to the Gaza Strip, despite an ongoing ceasefire. The Supreme Court in Jerusalem has postponed a ruling on a petition from the Foreign Press Association (FPA), which seeks unrestricted access for foreign media, marking the ninth delay since September. The FPA described the situation as “utterly absurd” and expressed outrage over the continued postponements, which hinder independent verification of humanitarian conditions in Gaza. The government has until December 21 to respond to the petition.
