UN Rapporteur Criticizes Israeli Actions and State Complicity

Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territory, condemned the “brutality of the Israeli genocide” in Gaza, attributing it to the complicity of many states. She called for urgent international action to uphold multilateralism and counter aggressors. Since October, over 70,000 people, primarily women and children, have died in Gaza, with ongoing Israeli violations despite a ceasefire. Albanese’s report indicated that “third states” have supported Israel’s actions through various means.
