Al-Sharaa discusses strengthening relations with Egypt and Iraq

Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa has expressed a desire to enhance bilateral relations with Egypt and Iraq, deeming their current state as “acceptable.” Speaking during a meeting on “Liberation Day,” he outlined Syria’s new foreign policy aimed at achieving regional and international balance, highlighting improved relations with the U.S., Russia, and China. He characterized ties with Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE as “ideal” and expressed optimism for the development of stronger relations with Egypt and Iraq.
