Israeli Group Influenced US Media Coverage, Violating Lobbying Law

A trove of leaked emails has revealed a shadow lobbying effort by Act For Israel, co-founded by actress Noa Tishby, to influence U.S. media and politics on behalf of Israel, raising potential violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). The documents, hacked by Handala, show coordination with the Israeli government to shape public opinion and organize media appearances without proper registration. Key figures, including conservative commentator Joshua Treviño, facilitated trips for journalists in exchange for favorable coverage. Critics argue these actions exemplify systematic concealment of foreign influence, undermining the intent of FARA.
