Egyptian President Opens Defence Industries Expo in Cairo

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi inaugurated the fourth edition of the International Defence Industries Exhibition “EDEX 2025” in Cairo, which runs until December 4. The event features participation from 38 countries, showcasing the latest in land, naval, and air defense technologies, and is expected to attract around 45,000 specialized visitors and official delegations from over 100 countries. Major global defense companies are also present, aiming to foster regional and global defense partnerships.
