The United Nations has urgently called for action against human trafficking in Fasher, North Darfur, now controlled by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Following the RSF’s takeover on October 26, 2024, alarming reports of human trafficking and serious violations have emerged, displacing over 470,000 people. The crisis has also led to widespread sexual violence, particularly affecting women and girls in RSF-controlled areas. Additionally, over six million children are displaced within Sudan or seeking refuge abroad.
