Iran Terminates Cairo Agreement with IAEA

Iran has officially terminated the Cairo Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), as announced by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. This decision follows a draft resolution from the European troika and the U.S. that Iran claims undermines cooperation and disregards its goodwill. In response, the IAEA’s Board of Governors has called for Iran to disclose its enriched uranium stockpile and provide information about atomic sites affected by recent air strikes.
