Washington and Tel Aviv Refute Report of Kushner Meeting Abu Shabab

The United States and Israel have denied a Saudi report from Al Arabiya claiming that Yasser Abu Shabab, leader of an anti-Hamas militia in Gaza, met Jared Kushner at a US facility in Kiryat Gat. The report alleged that Abu Shabab’s group was responsible for facilitating safe passage for Hamas members in Israeli-controlled areas. A US official called the report “false” and stated no such meeting occurred. Although there was no official Israeli response, sources confirmed the US rejection of the claims.
