Sudanese Minister of State for Social Welfare, Salma Ishaq, reported that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) killed 300 women and committed acts of sexual violence within two days of seizing El-Fasher in North Darfur. She described the situation as a systematic act of ethnic cleansing, with families still facing torture and violence. Since the conflict began on April 15, 2023, over 20,000 have died, and more than 15 million have been displaced. RSF leader Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo acknowledged violations by his forces, promising investigations.
