Iran’s Foreign Ministry condemned the atrocities committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in El-Fasher, Sudan, during a call between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Sudanese Foreign Minister Mohieldin Salem. Araghchi expressed Iran’s support for Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity while rejecting any parallel governments. The RSF has been accused of mass killings and other violations in the ongoing civil war in Sudan, which has caused significant casualties and displacement. El-Fasher recently fell under RSF control after months of siege.
