Activists detained after Israel’s attack on the Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla have reported mistreatment while in custody, according to Adalah, with hearings for around 470 detainees occurring without legal representation. A Turkish plane has since departed with 137 activists, while the blockade of Gaza continues, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis as over 67,000 Palestinians have been killed since October 2023.
