An Emirati-funded desalinated water pipeline was inaugurated in Khan Younis, Gaza, providing crucial relief amid extensive water infrastructure damage due to Israeli attacks. This project aims to deliver at least 15 liters of potable water daily to 600,000 Palestinians, operating independently from Israeli networks, as over 80% of Gaza’s water systems have been destroyed since the onset of Israel’s military campaign in October 2023.
