UN rights chief condemns deadly RSF attack on El Fasher city, refugee camp in Sudan – Middle East Monitor

The UN human rights chief condemned a large-scale attack by Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on El Fasher and the Abu Shouk camp, resulting in at least 57 civilian deaths, including 40 IDPs. He emphasized the need for urgent protection measures and accountability amidst ongoing violence that has claimed over 20,000 lives and displaced 14 million since the conflict began in April 2023.
