Syrian President survives 3 assassination attempts in 7 months – Middle East Monitor

The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reports that Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa has survived three assassination attempts in seven months, including one thwarted by security during his March departure from the Presidential Palace and another in Daraa province. The third attempt involved an ambush in Damascus, raising concerns about his safety, which were echoed by US Special Envoy Thomas Barrack.
