The UK arm of Save the Children has called for an immediate halt to arms sales to Israel after Israeli airstrikes killed at least 12 people, including eight children, in Gaza’s Nuseirat refugee camp. The organization condemned the UK’s continued arms licensing, asserting that the government must not support Israel’s actions, which have resulted in over 58,000 deaths in Gaza since October 2023.
