Iran bars UN nuclear agency chief from entering country, refuses surveillance at nuclear sites – Middle East Monitor
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced the prohibition of IAEA chief Rafael Mariano Grossi from entering the country and the refusal to allow surveillance cameras at nuclear sites, amid escalating tensions following recent military confrontations with Israel and the US. This decision follows Iran’s parliament passing legislation to suspend cooperation with the IAEA after a violent 12-day conflict that resulted in significant casualties on both sides.

Explain It To Me Like I’m 5: Iran’s foreign minister said that they won’t let the head of the group that checks on their nuclear sites come into their country or put cameras there, which is happening because of fighting with Israel and the US.
