Iran plans to present a counter-proposal for a nuclear deal to the US through Oman, as the US offer was deemed “unacceptable” due to unresolved issues regarding uranium enrichment and sanctions. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated that the US proposal did not reflect previous negotiations and vowed to provide a more reasonable and balanced proposal. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has also rejected the US proposal, asserting that Iran will continue its uranium enrichment activities.
