A recent Insa survey indicated that 58% of Germans favor suspending arms deliveries due to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where over 54,470 Palestinians have reportedly died since October 2023. Despite calls for a review of arms exports, Wadephul noted that the Federal Security Council, which operates in secrecy, will continue to guide these decisions.
