Method of delivering humanitarian aid in Gaza is “sadistic” – Middle East Monitor

The UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Adequate Housing, Balakrishnan Rajagopal, condemned the humanitarian aid distribution in Gaza as “sadistic,” criticizing the conditions under which civilians are forced to wait in cramped areas for assistance. Thousands of Palestinians, facing starvation, stormed aid centers in southern Gaza, prompting the Israeli army to open fire, resulting in several injuries. The UN accuses Israel of intentionally starving 2.4 million Palestinians by closing crossings to humanitarian aid and delegating aid distribution to a rejected organization, which has led to chaos and desperation among the population.
