Israeli occupation authorities are reportedly detaining two pregnant Palestinian women, Rima Balawi from Tulkarm and Zahraa Al-Kawazba from Bethlehem, under harsh conditions at Damon Prison, as stated by the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club. Both women, who are five months pregnant, face systematic violations, including deliberate starvation and lack of basic needs, with their detention extended by Israeli courts. Health concerns arise as Balawi suffers from thalassemia and Al-Kawazba has neurological issues requiring medical attention.
