Food stocks have run out in the Gaza Strip amid ongoing Israeli attacks, exacerbating hunger in the enclave, according to the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA). The agency highlighted that nearly 3,000 trucks of lifesaving aid are ready to enter Gaza, but the Israeli government continues to block essential supplies, leading to a manmade starvation crisis, particularly affecting children. Since the onset of conflict in October 2023, approximately 51,500 Palestinians have been killed, with Israel facing allegations of war crimes and a genocide case at the International Court of Justice.
