Chery’s only electric vehicle (EV) in Australia, the Omoda E5, has been renamed the Chery E5, with the Omoda branding replaced as the Omoda brand will launch independently in Australia by 2025. The E5 Urban and E5 Ultimate models are priced at $36,990 and $40,990, respectively, reflecting a price drop from their launch while maintaining the same specifications, except for minor feature removals. Backed by a seven-year warranty and a five-star ANCAP safety rating, the Chery E5 includes advanced safety features and two trim levels with various standard and optional equipment.
