A Sudanese military aircraft crashed in Omdurman, killing at least 19 people, including armed forces personnel and civilians. The crash occurred while the Antonov aircraft was taking off from the Wadi Sayidna air base, with bodies transferred to Nau hospital and five injured civilians treated. The incident comes amid ongoing civil war between the military and the Rapid Support Forces, marked by atrocities and recent military advances against the RSF in various regions of Sudan.
