The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted a high-speed rocket-sled test for a fighter aircraft escape system at Chandigarh’s Rail Track Rocket Sled facility. This test, which involved collaboration with the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), validated critical ejection and recovery processes under dynamic conditions. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh hailed the achievement as a significant milestone in India’s self-reliance in defense capabilities. The test was observed by officials from the Indian Air Force and the Institute of Aerospace Medicine for certification.
