The Supreme Court of India expressed concern over the separation of siblings due to their parents’ divorce, emphasizing that they should be allowed to live and grow together. During a hearing, Justices J B Pardiwala and K V Viswanathan highlighted the emotional pain caused by the siblings living apart, urging mediation between the couple to facilitate a resolution. The court stated that even in the event of separation, arrangements should ensure siblings remain together. The hearing was deferred pending the outcome of mediation efforts.
