Tenkasi: Two Buses Collide, 6 Dead and Many Injured

At least six people, including five women, died and several were injured in a head-on collision between two private buses near Idaikal village in Tenkasi district, Tamil Nadu. The accident occurred on the Thirumangalam-Kollam National Highway when a bus traveling from Tenkasi to Rajapalayam collided with another bus en route from Sankarankovil to Tenkasi. Emergency services, including police and fire brigade, responded quickly, transporting the injured to Tenkasi Government Hospital. An investigation into the cause of the accident has been initiated by local authorities.
