Sourav Ganguly on Sundar’s Suitability for No. 3 Batting Position

Former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly expressed doubts about Washington Sundar being suitable for the No. 3 batting position in Test cricket, citing challenges he may face in conditions like South Africa, England, Australia, and New Zealand. Although he acknowledged Sundar’s talent, Ganguly emphasized the need for specialist batters in the top five. In the recent Test against South Africa, Sundar scored 29 and 31, contributing to India’s 30-run loss. The second Test is scheduled for November 22 in Guwahati.
