Texas Teen Sentenced to 65 Years for Fatal Car Crash

A Texas teen, Luke Garrett Resecker, was sentenced to 65 years in prison for a crash that killed six members of an Indian family in December 2023. Resecker, who was under the influence of THC, veered his vehicle into their minivan, resulting in the deaths of Naveena Potabathula, Nageswararao Ponnada, Sitamahalakshmi Ponnada, and two children, while the driver, Rushil Barri, also died. The sole survivor, Lokesh, was left paralyzed. Resecker faced multiple charges, including intoxication manslaughter.
