Mason and wife kill 65-year-old for money

BENGALURU: Prasad Srisaila Makai, 26, and his wife Sakshi, 23, were arrested for the murder of 65-year-old Shrilakshmi, whom they strangled in her home while attempting to steal her gold mangalasutra. The couple, who had recently rented an apartment, entered her home under the pretense of checking her TV. They used a pillow to muffle her cries during the attack. Police apprehended them after noticing suspicious behavior and recovered the stolen gold chain.
