In Bengaluru, three women and a man were caught on CCTV dumping garbage on a roadside and dancing in front of the camera, sparking outrage among residents. The offenders, aged 25 to 28, were penalized Rs 1,000 each for violating solid waste management bylaws. Local officials condemned the act as a “mockery of civic sense” and emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness. Night-time surveillance will continue in areas prone to littering to prevent further violations.
