A British Sikh organisation, the Network of Sikh Organisations (NSO), is threatening legal action against the UK government over a proposed definition of Islamophobia, claiming it could lead to discrimination against other faiths and violate freedom of speech and religion. The NSO points out that existing definitions could mischaracterize historical and religious practices as Islamophobic.
