Brits Set New Record, Surpassing Mandhana

South African cricketer Tazmin Brits set a new record in the 2025 Women’s World Cup by scoring her fifth ODI century in a match against New Zealand, surpassing Smriti Mandhana’s previous record of four centuries in a calendar year. Brits also became the fastest player to reach seven ODI centuries, achieving it in 41 innings, while Nonkululeko Mlaba’s four-wicket haul limited New Zealand to 231 runs.
