NEW DELHI: The Election Commission has begun a special revision of electoral rolls in Delhi, uploading the 2002 voter list and mapping it to current constituencies, ahead of the nationwide Special Intensive Revision (SIR) expected to be announced soon. This initiative aims to identify illegal migrants and ensure no eligible voter is excluded, following criticism of the Bihar SIR for potentially disenfranchising citizens lacking proper documentation.
