Monsoon Withdrawal from North West India Expected by September 15

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts the southwest monsoon will retreat from northwest India around September 15, slightly earlier than usual. This year’s monsoon began in Kerala on May 24, covering the entire country by June 29, resulting in an overall rainfall of 7.4% above normal, although the east and northeast regions experienced deficits.
