Filmmaker S Narayan and Family Charged in Dowry Harassment Case

BENGALURU: Filmmaker S Narayan, his wife Bhagyavati, and son Pavan received police notices after Pavan’s wife, Pavitra, filed a dowry harassment case against them, alleging she was pressured to provide additional dowry and financially support the family due to Pavan’s unemployment. Pavitra claimed she took loans and pledged her mother’s gold to aid the family, while also stating that Narayan and Bhagyavati blamed her for disputes following their son’s marriage.
