Govt doesn't take stand on matters of faith, says MEA on Dalai succession issue
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

This clarification follows China’s warning to India against interference in Tibetan affairs, a comment that was later removed from their official briefing transcript.

Explain It To Me Like I’m 5:

India said it doesn’t want to pick sides in the Dalai Lama’s future, even though one of its ministers likes what the Dalai Lama wants, while China warned India to stay out of Tibetan issues.
