An Indian Naval ship in the Gulf of Oman promptly responded to a distress call from the Palau-flagged vessel MT Yi Cheng 6, which suffered a significant engine room fire and power failure while en route from Kandla, India, to Shinas, Oman. The vessel had 14 Indian crew members on board, highlighting the urgency and importance of the naval intervention.
