India is advancing towards becoming a global education hub, as five foreign universities—Victoria University (Australia), University of Liverpool (UK), Western Sydney University (Australia), Illinois Institute of Technology (US), and Istituto Europeo di Design (Italy)—have received Letters of Intent to establish campuses in the country. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan noted that six more universities are currently being evaluated by the Liberalized Degree Campuses committee. These new campuses are expected to offer high-quality STEM and management courses, aligned with national priorities.
