Banks Closed on May 24
Banks across India will be closed today, May 24, due to the fourth Saturday of the month, as per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) calendar, which mandates closures on every second and fourth Saturday. Customers are advised that while physical branch services like cash deposits and cheque clearances are unavailable, digital banking services, including mobile banking and ATMs, will remain operational for transactions. Upcoming regional bank holidays include May 26 in Tripura for Nazrul Islam’s birthday and May 29 in Himachal Pradesh for Maharana Pratap Jayanti.
