Madhya Pradesh HC Orders Case Against Minister
The Madhya Pradesh High Court has ordered a case against state minister Kunwar Vijay Shah for his controversial remarks about Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, who led press briefings on “Operation Sindoor” against terrorists. The court mandated the police to file an FIR by 6 pm on the same day, following widespread condemnation of Shah’s comments, which suggested Colonel Qureshi was linked to terrorists. Under pressure, Shah expressed willingness to apologize if his remarks offended anyone, emphasizing his respect for Colonel Qureshi.
