In a joint press briefing, Air Marshal AK Bharti confirmed that Pakistan attempted to breach Indian airspace with fighter jets in response to India’s ‘Operation Sindoor,’ which targeted over 100 terrorists, including IC-814 hijackers and Pulwama plotters. The Indian Air Force successfully repelled the intrusion, downing several Pakistani planes and inflicting significant losses, while ensuring all Indian pilots returned home safely. Bharti emphasized the strategic strikes on major Pakistani airbases and military infrastructure, asserting that India achieved its military objectives with clear evidence of damage from precision air operations.
