He criticized Haryana’s claim for increased water from the Nangal dam, asserting that Punjab has already exceeded its allocation and called the demands irrational and a violation of the Riparian principle. Badal emphasized that the Shiromani Akali Dal will not tolerate discrimination against Punjab and urged for justice rather than favors in resolving the issue.
